OSC Program at Windermere Out of School Care

Kindergarten - Grade 6

​Our Kindergarten and Out-of-School Care (OSC) Program provides reliable, high-quality care for children from Kindergarten through Grade 6. We support families with consistent before and after school care in a safe, structured, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow.


We offer supervised pick-up and drop-off services to Constable Daniel Woodall School and St. John XXIII Catholic School, ensuring smooth and dependable transitions between school and our centre. We accommodate both AM and PM kindergarten schedules, providing flexibility for families while maintaining consistency for children. Our program operates year-round, including summer, spring break, PD days, and school holidays. We also support early dismissals, field trips, and schedule changes, giving parents peace of mind and dependable care throughout the year.


While at the centre, children participate in a balance of structured activities and free play, including homework support, creative projects, group games, and outdoor play—helping them build independence, confidence, and strong social connections.
 

Outdoor Play

Children in our Kindergarten & OSC Program benefit from active and engaging outdoor play opportunities throughout the year. On non-school days, we utilize the school playground, providing a larger space for group games and physical activities. During the summer months, our daycare playground becomes a hub for exciting on-site special activities.


We enhance outdoor experiences with programs such as Zumba and Bollywood dance workshops, music programs, animal presentations, and picnic lunches, along with sports, free play, and group games. These activities promote teamwork, creativity, and a healthy, active lifestyle in a fun and supportive environment.
